Mouth Hygiene: Pain – Sensitive Teeth Clean Carefully

Because the sensitivity to pain always goes back to weaknesses in the teeth that are damaged by heavy cleaning further. Oesterreich explains: “This happens especially in people who consume a lot of acidic foods such as citrus fruits, apples or sour drinks.” The acids dissolve the enamel and minerals washed out, so tiny tubules are exposed, the heat or lead directly into the cold interior of the tooth sensitive. A similar effect has nocturnal gnashing their teeth: Even while the enamel is damaged and loses its insulating effect.
“Is the first step in such cases, strengthen the tooth enamel with a fluoride-or mineral-back preparation and close to the tubules.” explains an expert, Oesterreich.
