A recent research has found that about 30% of the women have fibroids. The treatment for fibroids is depending on the condition of it. There are many ways to shrink fibroids. Here are the most common treatments.

Hormone Based Treatment
Doctors use GnRHa hormoe to treat fibroids. This is given by an injection. However, this treatment can cause multiple side effects such as muscle stiffness, delayed or temporary stopping periods.

Medication
Depending on the condition of fibroids doctors may prescribe medications such as Tranexamic acid tablets or Anti-inflammatory medicines.

Surgery
Doctors may consider a surgery if the condition of fibroids is severe and it has passed the stage for other treatments.

Natural Treatments for fibroids
Natural fibroids treatment is the choice for most women. The advantage of this is no side effects and the solution is permanent. The disadvantage is it can take a bit longer than other methods of shrinking fibroids.
