Hirsutism In Women!

Hirsutism is a common problem in females these days. You must not be familiar with the term; however, you must be familiar with the problem. It is the problems of excessive hair growth in females, especially on the areas where hair is either absent or minimal due to low testosterone. It not only troubles a female, but at the same time, it also causes emotional breakdown in a female.
Excessive hair growth is a symptom of PCOS – Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. This is normally due to higher levels of testosterone in women, who are suffering from PCOS. Some of the most common areas which witness excessive hair growth are
• Chin
• Cheeks
• Neck
• Chest
• Arms
• Legs
Hirsutism symptoms vary from woman to woman. It may also become a reason of irregular or no period, male pattern hair loss, obesity, skin tags, skin patches, excessive male hormones and even infertility.
Excess of hair growth not only embarrasses you in crowd but it breaks you emotionally as well. Waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or hair treatments can help you deal with the situation for a short period of time; however, it does not treat the root cause of the problem.
If you are suffering from such an issue, you must get your testosterone level checked.
